What is the Islander Pledge?

The Islander Pledge is more than a statement on shared values for Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, it is the standard that all students, staff, and faculty strive to achieve every day.  Do your part by upholding the Pledge and encouraging others around you to do so as well. 

How Can I Get Involved? 

In light of recent events in support of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we are encouraging Islanders to get involved in making the Island Campus be a safe place for all people. We are looking to provide resources for students and the community, as well as get your ideas for what action you would like to see take place on the Island. At TAMU-CC we believe that all voices matter. Our nation is experiencing perhpas the most divisive period in our history and many marginalized groups are feeling the pressure and trauma of this. The University has begun taking the steps in being more inclusive for all people. However, we know there is still more work to be done.
